The movie, Crazy, Stupid Love, follows the Weaver family through a difficult time of romance, sexuality, and divorce. The film explores the family’s different viewpoints as they are all tested with different life problems which all end up coming together in the end. Males also increase selectivity as the probability of committing resources increases, but are less selective if given the opportunity for a low investment reproductive opportunity. This means that males are more likely to have “one night stands” because it is a low investment to them. They can have sex without any repercussion of having to raise a child because of it. This relates to when Cal was being taught by Jacob how to pick up women in the bars. Cal had only been with one woman his whole life, so he was getting to experience what it was like to have sex with no further investment. This did come back to hurt him though, in a later scene when his first “stand” turns out to be
