The article “What should teachers say to religious students who doubt evolution?” by John Horgan. Based on his student's answers, he then went on dividing these groups into three categories: First one being Evolution and faith suitable to one another, as long as faith is willing to abandon literal interpretations of the bible. The second group was Science could break faith, and lastly, Faith breaks science. Furthermore, Horgan provides a …show more content…

Teaching students new things is always a challenge rather because teacher fear to put the student in a place they will never be want to be in. Most of the times teachers do not teach with their full potential rather because of school policies or simply out of respect for others which is a huge mistake due to this actions it is getting in the way of education being broader and interesting. Horgan’s thinking is what most teacher should wonder about because being a teacher isn’t all about getting through the lesson and getting over with the topic. If we choose not to believe them it is more immoral to put up a fight against someone who is only trying to become less ignorant and more educated. Evolution is not only about fossils there is more to it nor it’s putting faith to the test because no scientist has ever stated “god almighty is nothing but a myth” instead it's about primary sources and data about evolutionary processes that occur when organisms try to survive and reproduce. Nothing can be fully explained unless we go out there and test things out and learned new things, teachers should feel more than free to push students thinking about evolution because none of this things are questioning the bible it is simply something a bit more different than what you are regularly being taught at home and church. The school is all about learning new things and most parents know that but if faith is strong enough nothing can quite question
