1) The photo shows a boy of about 10 years old, which is in a science laboratory. In the picture the child is using a microscope and also has a notebook in which apparently is taking notes on his experiment. In the bottom part of the picture is a skeleton and a shelf of books. Additionally there are words at the top of the image that said curiosity.
2) I think the article is about curiosity and how this leads to the discovery of new physical or chemical laws. I think this picture reflects that because it is a laboratory of science and therefore must be related to those topics.
3) I think the author uses this image to express your main point. For example within a laboratory of silences people must take great caution in every detail and besides you have to perform many repetitions of the same experiment for good results. On the other hand for these experiments is necessary propose some hypotheses and for this we need curiosity on a specific topic to see if the hypothesis is correct or not.
4) My interpretation of the theme was not correct. However it relates to the subject a little. Because as previously mentioned the boy in the picture is doing an experiment in a science lab in which you have to be precise, though often try to avoid mistakes we make and for this reason it is important to have several repetitions of the same experiment so that in this way we can reduce the error rate and have more good and real results. On the other hand what this article is talking about
