1. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
Skokie Baseball Inc. (SBI) is looking to establish a relationship with a supplier to be their supplier in development of a practice field for a semi pro baseball team based in Illinois. SBI intends to use a single supplier to cover all of the identified requirements in building of the practice field and the purpose of this RFP is to evaluate and shortlist vendors and subsequently select a vendor to award the mentioned work.
This RFP would be sent to selected bidders based on an initial evaluation of capabilities and services offered. Bidders are requested to confirm before June 15, 2015 if they intend to bid for this work. It is also required that all information contained in this RFP are treated as confidential and not disclosed to parties other than concerned people in the supplier company.
1.1. General Description of Work
The work in scope for this RFP is the construction of a new practice field on an already identified piece of land in Skokie,Illinois. High -level work activities involve clearing of existing structures and making the field ready, development of the baseball pitch, construction of a small clubhouse and a parking lot. All electrical, water and sewage work is also to be included. The selected supplier must work with a pre selected general contractor as is necessary. Detailed descriptions of the work that has to be accomplished are given in Section 2: Description of Work.

1.2. What Must Be Included with Bid
The Supplier is required to respond to the entire RPF according to this section. • Note that all responses must be in MS Office format. It is recommended that the response to the RFP contain the following sections
Covering Letter – This is a letter from the project owner from the supplier firm stating that the have understood the scope and perms of the RFP and they are submitting a bid that meets all the requirements
Executive Summary – This is a summary of the entire supplier proposal and highlights the understanding, approach and costs involved to execute the project. Please limit the executive summary to two pages.
Company Background – This section contains a background of the supplier company, its expertise and credentials and other supporting information that shows their ability to execute this project.
Detailed Response to Requirements (see Section 2 and Section 3) – Section 2 and Section 3 detail the work that is in scope of this RFP and the various requirements in terms of deliverables from the supplier. The supplier must respond to the questions asked in these sections and present their solution and approach on how they are going to execute the project.
Technical Specifications – The technical solution, specifications, materials and sub contractors used should be detailed in this section
