Bayeux Tapestry This essay will be about two images of the Bayeux Tapestry. The tapestry is 28 inches high and 230 feet in length. The Tapestry uses eight colors ranging from blue/green to gray/blue. The Tapestry resides in the Museum of Queen Matilda in Normandy, France. The Bayeux Tapestry has exactly 55 scenes with 626 people, 190 horses and mules, 35 dogs, 506 birds and animals, 33 building, 37 ships and 57 latin inscriptions. The tapestry has a lot of popular people in it and a lot of interesting scenes that happened. One image is men and horses on a ship and the other image is men eating around a table. The first image is the “Normans with horses on boats crossing to England in preparation for battle”. This image is 20 inches high.
