During his life, he kept searching and searching for the happiness that he never had during his childhood years, but before he died did he actually find it? Ever since Edgar Allan Poe was a young child his life was filled with tragedies. First when he was a young boy, his father left the family leaving him with a single mother, and eventually when he was three years old, his mother died. He was then eventually adopted by the Allan’s, which was great until when he went to the University of Virginia for school. His relationship with his stepfather John Allan turn disastrous due to the money problems.
