Introduction

Human trafficking is a serious and heinous crime that occurs throughout the world. Human trafficking is the unlawful movement of people, for forced labor or commercial sexual exploitation. Victims of human trafficking can be any age and any gender. Most victims are females younger than 17 years old. Human trafficking is one of the most lucrative international and illegal enterprise to date (Criminal Justice). There are about 21 million people in human trafficking worldwide. About 68% are used for forced labor, while 22% are used for sexual exploitation. The other 10% are in forms of state-imposed forced labor (Dupere).

For example, in Ancient Egypt they used slaves to build pyramids, Portugal bought and sold slaves to Africa and Europe during the 15th century, and before the Civil War, many plantation owners would sell and auction off their slaves like cattle. The Thirteenth Amendment abolished slavery, and it stopped physical and sexual abused acted on slave in the United States, but sad reality is slavery still exists in many forms.
No matter what particular cultural or historical form it takes, slavery always involved the control of one person by another, through violence or threats of violence, for the purpose of economic exploitation (NC Live) There are more than twice as many people are in bondage in the world today than were taken from Africa during the Atlantic slave trade. Most recruitment of victims is sometimes performed by spouses or boyfriends. Human trafficking requires a lot of broad planning, organization, and different resources to carry out the malicious crime. There are many kinds of different people needed in order to carry through with human trafficking. The recruiter is a person who finds victims. Travel agent is a person who carry through the travel for victims to other countries. The document thief/forger is a person who steal or create fake documentation. The employers is a person who purchases and sells victims. The enforcer is a the employer's bodyguard from police and they keep the victims in check by using
