What is Mariachi Music?
Mariachi music is played and heard often throughout Mexico and parts of the United States where Mexican American people live. It is also loved by people in many other countries too. Mariachi music began early in Mexico’s history. It started as music that people living in Mexico’s countryside played and sang. Today, hundreds of years later, many bands travel the world performing mariachi music.
