Overfishing
The ocean is a huge expanse of sea, each of the main areas into which the sea is divided geographically.The ocean covers more than 70 percent of earth. Only 5 percent has been explored.In our ocean, overfishing can lead to a species of fish being endangered.
Overfishing is when fishermen diminishes a large amount of fish. Overfishing happens in bodies of water, like ponds, rivers, lakes or oceans. Overfishing can result in habitats being destroyed, fisherman losing their jobs, and fish being endangered. Fishermen can lose their jobs because if they overfish their going to take a lot, and other fishermen who are trying to fish won't get what they want to acquire because of overfishing. Overfishing is a global disaster. Several marine animals like turtles, dolphins,and sharks get caught by fishing lines or entangled by nets and then tossed back into the sea, oftentimes dead or dying. Discarded fishing lines are one of the main causes for the death of marine animals. When fishermen go out to fish, they sometimes lose their fishing lines or just throw it out not knowing the potential dangers that could lead to it. Numerous marine mammals die each year from debris getting thrown into the sea. Fishermen have a big impact on marine habitats being destroyed. For example,vegetarians, fishermen, and other people. Vegetarians don’t eat meat which means they mainly rely on fish. Fish is a high-protein low-fat food that provides a range of health benefits. Sometimes when fishermen go out to sea they gather a whole bunch of fish, but when they can’t sell all of the fish they just throw it away because its no good. If the fish community starts to become endangered the fish production will start to go down, and fishermen will start to lose their jobs.
