SCOTTSBORO, ALABAMA (AP) The long and grueling trials of the Scottsboro boys are finally concluding after seven years. Nine boys, Harrison Patterson, Clarence Norris, Andy Wright, Roy Wright, Ozzie Powell, Willie Robinson, Charles Weem, and lastly Eugene Williams were falsely accused of raping Victoria Price and Ruby Bates on the back of a train heading towards Memphis.

With the first, second and third trial all resulting in the boys being convicted as guilty, they were given no other choice but to separately have trials. It has taken over seven years for all the boys to finally be free, although Ruby Bates testified that the crime that they
