A. We have weekly planning that includes a toy rota, garden planning and 5 days planning. These are aimed at all children but in particular specific children that is done from observations that are done monthly and spontaneous observations that are done weekly. These all help a child develop. With the toy rota it is based on what children like to play with and the older children are asked what they would like to play with e.g. giving them the choice.

B. Most activities are child led giving the child a choice of what they would like to do however 2 adult let activities are done daily. These include messy play, writing or mathematics.

C. All children are motivated to achieve their full potential. Staffs help as much as they can to push a child to get the best out of them.

D. At the start before a child starts we give the parents a tracker form, which has all areas from the EYFS. We ask parents to highlight where they think there child is currently and what they think we can do to help them develop. From this we highlight the spontaneous observations daily in 2 different colours stating whether a child is emerging at secure at specific stages. The tracker is also based in months so we know where a child should be and what we need to do to help them.
