Introduction
In this paper I will examine resiliency (or lack thereof) and vulnerabilities of Toronto public health care system as well as effectiveness of the Ontario Health and Health Canada regulations, as they manifested during the 2003 Toronto SARS outbreak. The problem of reliability of health care system as a key critical infrastructure of any given megapolis should be looked at from a number of standpoints including but not limited to government’s response to a crisis, and economy and social issues. I will also discuss the short and long term effects that this event had on individual victims as well as its effects on the society as a whole. This will be followed by critical analysis of existing procedures designed to fight the spread
