Resistance Is Futile: A Narrative Analysis

Most people stay very busy, as many of us have grown accustomed to multi-tasking every facet of our lives (Chambers, 2015). When trying to make time for success in an academic journey, does it become just another task? Some people may procrastinate on deadlines while taking time for social media and video games. However, many- like me, rush into getting everything done for fear of getting too close to deadlines. This often leads to rushing in, grammatical mistakes, spelling errors, and a flood of other thoughts clouding focus from the task at hand. Consequently, after reading an article by Jennifer Blair, "Resistance is Futile", I begin to wonder if I, and many others, do not procrastinate enough (Blair, 2008).
