I think that the title “closed for the Season” does fit the book. In my opinion I say it does because the title is based on the Forest which is closed down because of Billy and what he did to Ms. Donaldson. Since the book is a mystery, the story mostly takes place inside the Magic forest where they find clues to solve the mystery. Which before it was shut down, it was an amusement park. When Arthur and Logan first went to the forest they saw a sign that said “Closed for the Season” and that is what the book is called. I also think that the title fits the book because for me when I first saw the book the title caught my attention and I predicted that is was going to be scary and it kind of was. So I do think that it does fit the book because the title sounds mysterious and makes you want to read the book. …show more content…
The book takes place in Ms. Donaldson’s house because that’s where Logan moves in and where the crime takes place. The Forest which gives Logan and Arthur clues about the murder. Another place is the library, where they go to find books and research. In the book it describes the town ( Bealesville ) as a lonely stranded out town. That is the type of village that would be in a thriller. So all of these places and descriptions are foreshadowing the title and why you would know right away that this book is mystery. Also the book is called Closed for the Season but the amusement park has been closed for years. Since it has been closed for years it’s all dirty and destroyed. So with the title you would think that it’s only closed for the season but it’s not you have to read it and find out. That is some evidence that I think supports my idea of why the title is a good fit. Also because I just think that it goes well with the book and describes it
