The process used to make the decision to eliminate MAP testing in grades one and two appears to be rather informal and dictated by Keith Hubbard, the Cambridge representative working with our school. Karen Brown, the Response to Intervention (RTI) specialist was unaware of what drove this decision. Ms. Brown did indicate that Mr. Hubbard had made the decision. Mrs. Formella, the assistant principal echoed Ms. Brown’s sentiment that ultimately the decision was made by Mr. Hubbard.
