Of Mice and Men is an old English classic tale, written by John Steinbeck in the year 1937. It is an incredible book that brings a whirl of inspiration and emotion when reading it. The story follows a pair of migrant field workers in California as they move south to find work on a ranch. It navigates between the everyday realities of George Milton and Lennie Small. It explains how the brothers are living during the Great Depression, and are, in fact, homeless and suffering greatly due to the mental illness of George, the younger brother. In order to save him, Lennie ends up having to shoot him dead due to the fact that he brought too much harm. This brings peace to not only himself but others too.
