Port St Lucie High or in other words the hell hole that makes children less of themselves. That’s what Cecilia use to call it whenever one small detail of high school was brought to her attention. Cecilia always waited by the lamp post for her chariot at 5:56am, she would get there before anyone else so she can feel the ownership of the gusting wind to herself, the grass would mostly be wet with the moist of humidity touching each tip letting it savor the food. If she was lucky she would see the moon, with the clouds gathering for their last supper. She would write poems to herself of how each morning was different than the other. Boom Boom Boom Boom. The voices of others echoed, drifting away from reality, with the dizziness of her pen she closed her eyes focusing on her breathing. Thinking of the sky this morning on how stunning it was.
