Travel Team is a great book! The fact that the book Travel Team talks throughout the same subject several times doesn’t mean that won’t teach people responsibility, characters that are funny and reliable, and chapters that leave someone with several things to think about. Goodreads gives the book a 4.05 out of 5 stars. Travel Team is a sports book several can enjoy. Something that the book Travel Team teaches humans about is responsibility. An example that shows responsibility is on page 189. It says “You can do this?” Danny made sure to look in her eyes. “I can do this.” Danny was saying that he knew he could coach the team. His conversation with his mom solidified his belief. It was a responsibility Danny was ready to take on and also ready for great friends willing to help out. Travel Team has a variety of colorful characters that help make the story enjoyable. There is Will who is always talking about anything and everything. At the end of chapter 13 it says “Then Ty was rolling on the floor at St. Pat’s, cradling his right arm to his stomach, screaming in pain.” This leaves people with questions, “will he might ever play again?” or “what happens now.” One other chapter that leaves several crazy is the end of chapter 20 that states, “Not again,” he heard her say. She nodded hard a couple of times, placed the receiver back in its cradle, walked over to where Danny was sitting between Will and Tess. “It’s your father,” she said. “There’s been an accident.” At the end of that chapter, it raises questions, “What will happen”, “did he die” or “did he do the same stuff as last
