I found it to be a mediocre film. The plot was very well developed and followed an excellent storyline. Although, at some points, the film would take place at the refugee camp, then it would randomly switch over to somewhere associated with the Nazis or it would switch to the Russian Partisan camp (it was very choppy). At some points the characters would speak English, and at other points they would speak Russian or German (hard to understand and follow). The sound effects, visual effects and sound track fit the film perfectly and add to the drama. The film perfectly portrays what happened to the Jews (from their point of view) during WW2 and the Holocaust.
During the course of the movie, the 3 brothers faced a lot of drama. Whether they were fighting the Nazis, talking to the leader of the Russian Partisans or just trying to live life with the other refugees. The movie was a little choppy, because there weren’t always smooth transitions between the scenes. For example, when Asael was getting married, the scene was switching from a fight with the Nazis and Asael’s marriage. It was pretty annoying and frustrating to watch 2 different things at the same
