The poem “Rolling In The Deep”, a song was written by Adele Adkins, a English R&B Singer and Songwriter. Adele has written plenty of songs; most are based on her past relationships. But this one caught my attention. The theme of the song focuses on realization and betrayal. She uses detailed literary devices and figurative language to get her message across. I think “Rolling In The Deep” is an expression of deep love. She may have thought that he was the one, and that their love would last, but instead he was testing their love.
Adele opens the poem um up with there’s a fire starting in my heart, reaching a fever and its bringing me out the dark- she’s letting us know that that she feels so much pain that it feels like fire.
