Book Review I am writing a book review about The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks. Nicholas Sparks is an international bestselling author. He’s reached NYT’s best-seller list and has written sixteen books targeted for teenagers and young adults to read. Six of these have been made into major motion picture movies including The Last Song. Nicholas Sparks really knows how to fill the hearts and inspire people all across the nation. The Last Song is a book all about realizing the people that you love and want to keep in your life forever. Ronnie, the main character in The Last Song is a troubled 17 year old with a younger brother named Jonah and two parents that are divorced. Ronnie lives with her mom in New York and hasn’t seen her dad since the divorce. Ronnie’s mom thinks it would be a good idea for her and Jonah to spend some time with their dad so she sends Ronnie and Jonah to North Carolina to spend the summer with him. Ronnie ignores every opportunity her dad offers to reach out to her and ends up making friends with some bad people. She finds herself getting into similar situations that she got in trouble for in New York. All she wants to do is go back to New York with her mom until she meets Will who is the last person she expected to be interested in.
