The American Revolution was a war that arose between America and Great Britain. Granted, this war did not just start out of nowhere. There were many reasons that the Americans were unsatisfied with the British Parliament, however, there are three main reasons that Americans decided to rebel and fight for their freedom, such as the Sugar Act and Stamp act, Dutch smugglers, and Parliament holding all of the power.
