Rhetoric, Ethos, And Logos

In classical rhetoric, we learn about Aristotle's means of persuasion and one of those means is through artistic proofs. There are three artistic proofs that we have discussed throughout the semester: Ethos, Pathos, and Logos. I believe that all three are relevant in the movie John Q, as we see him give a speech to the FBI and a large crowd of people. The bystanders in the movie may believe that John Q is a terrible human being but his speech displays a powerful and convincing argument that is sure to persuade any person that his actions, though harsh and against the law, can be justifiable.
