In a Ted Talks video Benjamin Zander makes the audience observe how much more they like music, especially instrumental, when you associate it with memory. Sound therapy could be the key to reducing pain for patients but especially offer help to drug addicts, but in order to do that there needs to be a definitive link between music and neuroscience. Enjoyable music releases the human body's production of opioids, a sort of morphine that releases dopamine to create the happiness and sudden mood change a person gets when they listen to their favorite song. If scientists could figure out why music produces this response there
