Imagine, a young boy being taken away from his family at gunpoint, then being drugged and forced to kill. Then getting jailed because of that. What do you think? I think child soldiers should receive amnesty based on if they were forced to join, forced to kill, rape,ext., abused, and what time they were when they kidnapped.
This paragraph is about how they were forced into the army by groups to fight for their side. Firstly evidence from CNN states “Thousands of children have been forced into the military”. Kids are being affected by armies and are getting forced to join and serve. Secondary evidence from SOS children’s villages states “30,000 children in the DRC are forced to fight in the conflict”. The first piece of evidence states “Group forced him to rape girls/women”. They are brutal in the military and the group and how they don’t care for the child soldiers. Secondly, a piece of evidence is from educating a child.org “they forced him to commit violent crimes”. this shows how ruthless some of the militaries is towards kids. The final body paragraph is about how they were getting drugged and abused. the first piece of evidence is from an Ishmael Beah interview “ Ishmael Beah was getting drugged and forced to do things”. not only did they force people they even drug them and made them do things without them knowing what they were doing. another piece of evidence is from SOS Children's villages states “ Girls get raped and are vulnerable”. Groups that have child soldiers are ruthless and they don't care about the child's and what they're doing to them even young kids. Many people will argue that child soldiers purposefully join the Army to kill, rape, ext. Evidence to support their claim is in the article rehabilitating child soldiers in the DRC it states “ I like being a soldier, I don't know how many people are killed.” Even though they say this is bad.
