In 2007, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Al Gore for “his efforts to educate people about the threats posed by man-made climate change and to urge people to act against the effects of climate change.” On December 10, 2007 Al Gore gave his speech. The video of Al Gore's speech is more persuasive than the text. In the video, one can see the emotion Al Gore says and gives. When he's talking, one can hear the emotion and feelings in his voice. He sounds serious and doesn't sound silly or anything. In the text, it doesn't say anything about the way he's saying the speech. For all we know he can be saying the speech in a high pitched voice. Emotion is one of the details that makes the video more persuasive.
