Niall Ferguson is a historian who decided to look into why and how civilizations have collapse and how America can avoid in it his essay “America’s Oh Sh*t Moment.” Ferguson uses a mixture of history and metaphors of modern references to reach his audience and explain the many ways that that society can collapse. This essay was written for those that have a good understanding of technology and history. Ferguson strongly believes that America is heading towards a social ruin.
