In many cases giving a speech or forming an essay is based upon persuasion. How one persuades their audience determines how strong or weak a particular speech or essay will be. In many cases when conducting a speech many politicians, activist, motivational speakers and even preachers use one of these three types of persuasions. It is Pathos appeals to one's emotions, Logos appeals to one's logic and reasoning and Ethos appeals to one's sense of credibility.
