Rhetorical Analysis
The love a mother has for their child is unique and every mother has a different way of showing such to her child. In the letter Abigails Adams wrote to her son, John Adams, she opens up in such a motherly way, concerned, for his safety due to any harm that can be brought by the sea or any enemies. As well as like any other mother hoping that he’s enjoying himself. Since John Adam did not want to go on the trip with his brother and father in the first place, but it wouldn’t have been the right thing to let him choice what would benefit him, so she says. The rhetorical strategy used through the first and second paragraph would be pathos. Her concern within the paragraph really connects to the readers emotions, even me reading
