In Sebastian Wernicke’s TED Talk, “Lies, damned lies and statistics (about TED Talks),” is ironic because he describes himself exactly. As Wernicke went on about how to make a TED Talk better, he stated many characteristics that are similar to him. He said, “You should talk as long as they will let you.” (2:14) Wernicke was the complete opposite to this statistic because his speech was about five minutes long. Although Sebastian Wernicke was being ironic in this situation, he also says to choose your topic carefully, in order to interact with the audience.
