In this Ted Talk Beau Lotto uses Optical Illusions to demonstrate how our perception does not always display reality. Mr. Lotto is presenting this Ted Talk on the occasion of modern society. Lotto's audience is not only those who can see but, all people with any type of perception of the world, information seekers. Lotto causes the audience to question why things are they way they are, why things are normal or abnormal. Beau Lotto presents in a proud tone, he is very happy about what he's saying and it comes off as almost inspirational. I personally began to question what else people perceived as normal versus abnormal. I wonder if people will ever see the world as it truly is or if we will always be prisoners of our mind's past experiences.
