After reading this excerpt, I have gathered that Sam Harris wants everyone to know what a lie is and that lying is wrong, but I don’t think he nor his readers are going to stop lying altogether or any time soon. For this reason I don’t want him to be a friend of mine. First off this excerpt, in my opinion, is a lie. I’m not saying that any of the main points or the examples that he states are wrong. I’m saying that nothing in this excerpt is life changing or worth reading for that matter. He is just writing something to write something. All the information that he states is just an example of the stuff that everyone already knows.
