Integrity is not something you show others, it's how you behave behind their back” -unknown. Courage is very hard to have,what gives people the courage to stand up? After reading the texts, “Doing the right thing” By Rick Reilly, “Thank You Ma’am”By Langston Hughes and The Road Not Taken” By Robert Frost. They are evident that there people that do have courage to do the right thing. There’s always people in your life that lead you down the path to have courage. The first example shows that people get courage to do the right thing from their family. For Biondi, it was his mother. For gallimore, it was his whole family, and for james it’s his father. This shows that everyone has someone in there life that can show them how to have courage and that it takes only a little kindness to make someone’s day. The second example shows that its hard to have courage to choose a different path than other people. In the poem “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost, the narrator tried his true hardest to pick fairly, and he wanted to do his best so he picked the path people did not choose and that was the best choice for him. In the text it says “ long i stood and looked down one as far as i could.” he got courage to go down the path people rarely ever did go because he had the courage to step away from the crowd unlike some other people. In the text it states, “i kept the first for another day.” the evidence connects to the main idea because it showed how he got the courage and how difficult it is to have the courage to move away from the crowd and choose the right path for you. In the third example this shows everyone has courage to stand up and do the right thing. In the story “Thank You
