Would someone walk up to a random stranger and spit in their face? Well if it is not right to spit in a stranger’s face, then why is it right to kneel during the National Anthem? Recently, football players have been kneeling during the National Anthem in protest of discrimination of citizens by police officers, and many feel it is unjust. : Therefore, it is wrong for football players to kneel during the National Anthem, because it is disrespectful, creates political debates, and causes an uproar in fans.
