Princess Anne Cavaliers would play Riverdale Baptist (MD) in the Boo Williams and Ronald Curry Christmas Classic Gold Bracket Championship Game. Former AAU teammates Xaria Wiggins and Rochelle Norris would reunite but now as of today, they were the opposition. Riverdale Baptist not being from this area was not very known to many in attendance, but that definitely would change after this game.
Princess Anne got in trouble early as the length of Rochelle Norris was giving them all kinds of issues. Norris was grabbing rebounds on both ends on the court. Coach Dozier would have to call an early timeout to get his team to regroup. Wiggins and Senior guard Nyla Pollard had taken Dozier's advice and found ways to attack Norris and get her in foul trouble, sending Norris to the bench was the best option as it would help the Lady Cavaliers find ways to score. Jenn Ferezen would step up in the absence of Norris. End of the first quarter favored Riverdale Baptist with an 18-12 lead.
Xaria Wiggins would have to put the team on her back as Pollard would rest on the bench. Princess Anne would still struggle with the size differential, but that did not stop them from battling before halftime. Free Throws would close out this game and it favored Riverdale Baptist, a pair of Free Throws by Rochelle Norris would solidify the game, both teams would put their benches in.
