The Landlady by Roald Dahl is a short story about a 17-year-old businessman named Billy Weaver who gets deceived by a landlady at Bed and Breakfast hotel. The landlady who works at Bed and Breakfast who appears to be a kind soul, kind-hearted, caring, generous and, most importantly, benign. The purpose of this essay is to analyze parts of the story that prove Billy gets deceived in the end.
