He is also known as a true best friend and confident of former president Bill Clintons. Reich utilizes statistics to show that the middle class is a very important component of the economy. Reich further references to the middle class the as "sun of the earth". He explains that the middle class is what keeps the economy progressing. He shows pathos in regards to middle-class balancing within disadvantaged and wealthy living. He also uses the Golden Gate Bridge in his film has a symbol of the up and downs of the economy.
