Robin Williams is one to remember positively. Robin Williams was a well known actor of his time. Williams did a variety of genres of movies. He performed in movies that were laid back and comical and even some that were remarkably serious. Robin Williams ability to adjust to any character role he was given is one of the many reasons he is a phenomenal actor. Robin Williams was an actor that could play any role. He is famous for both his comical and serious movies. Yet, he is best known for his hilarious side. After having been in numerous movies, Williams built up his career as an actor. People started to wonder how he was so good and could alter his personality to that of his character’s. Later on in Robin Williams’ life, he announced that he struggle greatly with depression. Someone with depression can be so famous and so amazing? It was something that people had to look more into. Of course, any actor can not give a concrete answer as to why they are good. This gave people a base. Was Williams’ hiding his depression while acting? Or was his acting a way to sort of get away from reality and acting was his happy place? We will never really know. Popeye was the one to spark his feature film career. Williams was so incredible funny in this film. He was the perfect fit for the role. Not even ten years later, Williams starred in The Dead Poets Society. This film was categorized as a drama. In this film Williams’ plays the role of an english teacher set out to inspire his students. Robin would later receive his second nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role. AFter this movie, it was sure that Robin Williams was a remarkably good actor, who could play both the cerious and not so serious roles. Overall Robin Williams starred in about seventy-four films. This does not include his television shows or video games. All of which were
