My delegates name was Roger Sherman. He represented Connecticut. Sherman was a long time and very influential member of the Continental Congress. But before the convention he was in New Haven Connecticut. After his first wife whom he had 7 children with died it took him 3 years to remarry. Sherman and his new wife had 8 children. Sherman also abandoned his study in law and opened up 2 stores that helped students in Yale. But soon after he took an interest in the government and politics again.
He won membership on the committees that then drafted the Declarations of Independence and Articles of Confederation. He also conversed with the council in other issues such as Indian affairs, national finances and taxes. Even though he was still in Congress
