Freedom is the power to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. America is cemented in that one word. If not for the belief in that word America wouldn't be the country it is today. Freedom had a big role in shaping America back in the colonial times, it let people practice their religion without being reprehended. It also drove the colonists to break free from the British rule. When this freedom was threatened war broke out.
Freedom hasn't always been something that was fixed subject in the United states. It is the cause of many conflicts in the colonial times of America. Freedom didn't mean that there was no authority but it meant that the colonists could do the things that they couldn't do in England but can now do in the new world.

To do so they took up arms to defend the principles in which they believed in. They believed that each of these right were undeniable and every man regardless of color had this god given right. Colonist both young and old did whatever they could to support the militia, weather it be warning everyone of an impending attack or collecting scraps for the bullets and weapons.
Lastly the religions in which the colonist practiced helped to shape America. It allowed people from all over the world to flock to America to practice their religion freely. This increased both the population and the and the economy of the newly established America.
