The society that Ray Bradbury depicted in his novel, Fahrenheit 451, seems quite unrealistic to me. I do not believe that it is possible for our country, or even the whole world for that matter, to ever become a society like the one in the novel. I think that there are too many people out there in the world who love books, whether it is writing them or reading them. Even the thought of a possible loss of books would spark an outrage in many parts of the world.

Although the number of readers in this country is declining, that does not mean that people won’t be infuriated and cause a big riot over the loss of books. I believe that there are so many people in this world that love books so much that this would prevent the idea of having a society
