Two very important contributions from ancient Greece and Rome were columns and the major roads. There's a saying that all roads lead to Rome. That was kind of true because Rome had over 85,000 km of roads across the empire(Doc.3). The roads were used for the same things that we use them for today(OI). Such as transporting goods,link Rome with far off places, and get soldiers from place to place(Doc.3). The roads might have been dirt, but they did their purpose. Another contribution was introduced by the Greeks.The Greeks did something a little different. They made the use of columns all the rage. They had three main types of columns based off the shape of it. In almost every important Greek building there were at least a few columns(OI). You
