ACT 3 SCENE 1
This assessment will be about Act 3 Scene 1, I will be writing about how this part sets up the rest of the play.
In Act 3 Scene 1, Shakespeare builds on the idea of how violence and the hatred led the two families to fight causing the death of important characters in the play. Shakespeare sets the scene for all the other events that occur in the play.
It is in Act 3 Scene 1, when the play really becomes a tragedy. The scene begins with Mercutio laughing with everyone and then enters the happy romantic Romeo. Romeo and Mercutio had an argument with Tybalt. The argument led Romeo to refuses to fight Tybalt because now that he has married Juliet, Tybalt thinks that Romeo is tricking him but still refuses. The weather is mentioned in this first part to give a hint for the audience that the people will get angry very quick also they will get in trouble easily.

Shakespeare presented Tybalt as strong characteristic also sharp and smart.
