In the book Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is a very dynamic character. He has a lot of traits that describe him. The first trait is indecisive; Romeo is very indecisive about many things. Another trait is that he’s emotional, throughout the book he experiences many emotions. He was banished from Verona, he made bad decision that banished him. All these traits describe him throughout the book. To begin with, Romeo is very indecisive. At the beginning of the book Romeo is lovesick. Everyone tries to get him to forget about her but he can’t. He states, “Goodbye! You can’t teach me to forget her.” He says this to Benvolio because Benvolio is teaching Romeo to forget Rosalina. Romeo then goes to the Capulet party to see other girls. Juliet plans a fake death because she doesn’t want to marry Paris. Lord Capulet planned for her and Paris to marry. She is already married to Romeo so she fakes her death. Romeo was supposed to get the letter that she faked her death but he didn’t. Romeo goes to the tomb and kills Paris. He states, “I must die, indeed, and that is why I came here” (Shakespeare 5.3.58). He kisses Juliet the drinks the potion so that he will die. He says,” Why are you still so beautiful?” (Shakespeare 5.3.101). He thinks Juliet is dead but she’s not. She then wakes up and sees Paris and Romeo dead and dreads over her decision. Friar Lawrence tries to get her to leave but she won’t. Juliet grabs a dragger and kills herself. Which leaves the two that were deeply in love, dead. In conclusion, Romeo has many traits. He is very lovesick and emotional. He is indecisive about almost everything. He is banished from his bad decisions. He is a dynamic character. He changes during the play from being lovesick and miserable to being happy and loving life. He died because of love and he died happy. All the traits describe him throughout the
