In the book Of mice and men John Steinbeck reveals the relationship between two men in the Great Depression who work at a ranch in Soledad, California. In the book Steinbeck shows the relationship between two people, George and Lennie. Throughout the book Steinbeck conveys the struggle of living in the time of the great depression. Through the books Of Mice and Men and Romeo and Juliet, both authors base the book on the key point of relationships.
