When it comes to love, we all go through our different stages to show it. We go through the liking stage, the talking stage, the dating stage, and eventually the actual relationship. During those different stages, we get caught up in the beauty of our partner that we forget to actually know who they are and what they are about. It’s very true that love will make you do some crazy out of the world things, but do we really forget who we are while doing that? Do love really take over our mind, body and soul that we want to end it because of what our partners can possibly put us through? It’s very much possible and in the end nobody wins. Before this class I never knew about Russian Plays or stories. I only knew about American literature because that’s what most of my classes required me to read. I believe that is the case for many people today, if you was to ask them about Poor Liza, most people wouldn’t know unless they studied Karamzin’s work. Unlike Romeo and Juliet, this is a well-known play and story, so many theaters and schools performed this play and throughout my time in school I have read this story at least three times.
