Romeo As A Tragic Hero

Romeo’s high status falls to tragic loss by him losing his good reputation. Because of the loss, he is a tragic hero for being responsible for his own death. When someone has a high status, they typically have something of great value about their life that makes for loosing. In the story Romeo and Juliet, Romeo shows that he is a tragic hero with high status with his love for Juliet. [2.6(42)] “For, by your leaves, you shall not stay alone/Till holy church incorporated two in one.”
However, like a lot of happy things, there must be a conflict to test their love. With a road bump in their way, Romeo loses his high status in a fight. Romeo is happy because now he has a woman to love. He feel complete and wonderful, like he never knew love before.
