The Acorn People, is a true, realistic fiction novel. Although it is a small book, but it is filled with an enormous amount of emotional impact on many people. It explains the meaning of humanity and how being accepted can bring happiness, understanding, and encouragement into anyone’s lives. Ron Jones, the narrator (and author), is surprised and frustrated when his illusions of this summer camp are quickly shattered; but the more time he spends at the camp, he becomes more encouraging, he end up being much more caring and sympathetic about the children.
