INTRODUCTION
Randy Weaver no doubt had religious beliefs and his anti-government views were in question. This is very debatable however; Randy was trying to do the right thing for him and his family. Whereas individuals can disagree with the illegal firearms activities, the government needed to be accountable given that the US Marshal Service killed his wife and son.
White Supremacist Beliefs
Randy and his wife Vicki were considered white supremacists based on their religious beliefs. The family had relocated to Idaho to avoid what they called religious persecution.

Could their communication been much better? What alternatives did the government have, if any? It sounds like they made a knee jerk reaction to a situation without considering all factors and it had a severe backlash costing lives and money to investigate what actually transpired that day on Ruby Ridge.
