According to the Holocaust Triangle, Rudolf Hess is a perpetrator of the Holocaust because he legislated many anti-semitic laws. According to Alfred D. Low, “An early enemy of the Jews, he [Hess] greatly influenced the anti-Jewish legislation of 1935”(Low 108). This was only the beginning of the suffering for the Jews. The article “People of the Holocaust” points out that, “As Hitler’s deputy, Hess signed the Nuremberg racial laws”(“People of the Holocaust” 207). According to “People of the Holocaust,” “These laws, which took effect in 1935, stirpped German Jews of their citizenship and barred them from engaging in most professions”(People of the Holocaust” 207). These laws played a big role in the demise of the Jewish population in Germany,
